What is the Canadian citizenship test like?

The official test contains 20 multiple-choice or true-or-false questions. You have 45 minutes and need at least 15 correct answers. The questions are based on the Government of Canada’s Discover Canada study guide. This site is an independent practice tool; its questions are not the confidential official test questions.

Prepare with the official guide

Read Discover Canada, then use practice questions to check your recall. Study rights and responsibilities, history, government, geography, the economy, laws and symbols. Try several different tests and revisit your weaker areas rather than memorising a single question set.
