Privacy notice

Study progress
We use your answers, scores and session times to show progress and suggest what to review. Without an account, answers stay only in this browser tab and are not stored in our database. If you start registration, a temporary copy may remain in this browser for up to seven days so we can move your answers into your account after email confirmation. Clearing browser data removes it.
Accounts
Supabase provides email and Google sign-in and stores your account identity and study history. Email registration requires address confirmation. Resend delivers our account confirmation and password reset emails. We do not receive your Google password. Your study sessions are accessible only to your account through database access rules. You can delete your account and history from the account page. Google and Supabase process sign-in information under their own privacy terms.
Optional study emails
During registration, you may choose to receive occasional study tips, new practice questions and site updates. This choice is optional and separate from the emails needed to operate your account. We record your preference only when you actively select it. We are not sending marketing emails yet. Before any newsletter starts, we will provide sender details and a clear unsubscribe option.
Hosting and advertising
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes technical request information to serve and protect it. Google AdSense is planned but is not active; no advertising script is loaded. We will update this notice and provide applicable consent controls before ads launch.
Your choices
You can practise without registering, clear guest results, sign out, request a password reset, or delete your account. For privacy questions, contact freedmvtests@gmail.com.
Independent resource
Citizenship Test Practice is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. External sources have their own privacy practices.
